million dollar question.
how do you get a thoughtful present for somebody?
i mean, i know how to BUY pretty presents, but not thoughtful ones.
i have high ambitions. i want to make the recipient to burst out in tears when they open my present.i want them to go,
"oh my god, how did you know??? "
i don't know how to buy presents,basically.

Hey Liyana...
I heard from someone once that one of the best presents that one could give is something that the recipient will not get for oneself... Well, it doesn't sound like a very good idea BUT...It's like getting something that the one would think twice before splurging, so you can do the person a favour by going ahead with it... i hope that helped =P
